I love her face when she woke up & walked into the room, well we actually had to wake her at 9am…her rosy red cheeks & the shock on her face as she glanced at all the goodies that Santa left her. Two thumbs up for the “motorcycle” from Santa!
For months, other than her “motorcycle” she begged for all things “As Seen on TV”. But the one that she wanted the very most was the Touch and Brush. She was literally squealing with delight when she opened it!!
Not only did she get the Touch and Brush but she also got the Big Top Cupcake and the Perfect Brownie Pan…she is in heaven!
A special gift that both of the big kids’ received were their jerseys. Cowboys Romo jersey for the teenager and Manchester United Rooney jersey for the boy, they were overjoyed!
Another gift that was one of my favorites, we all got our team football hats!

A few years ago we stopped visiting on Christmas day, it just got to be too much. We live an hour and a half away from everyone so immediately after opening presents we would have to get ready, leave and be gone all day. I felt awful that the kids had no time to just sit back, relax and enjoy all that the received. So my mother and father started coming over here after church in the morning and it’s been that way ever since.
On Saturday we went visiting family…it was so nice being around everyone. I really love the family I have and I feel truly blessed to have them in my life.
